Shift Continues to Scale up the Alberta Healthy Youth Relationships Strategy

As part of the Alberta Healthy Youth Relationships Strategy, Shift is focused on supporting pre-service teacher training and education. Following a successful design and implementation of the curriculum for graduate level pre-service teachers, we partnered with Dr. Shelly Russell Mayhew from the Werklund School of Education to build content for the first in Canada Comprehensive School Health course that students of the Bachelor of Education are now required to take as part of their core curriculum. First lectures were delivered in January to over 200 students and will be continuously offered to the Bachelor of Education students.
