Lana Wells, the Brenda Strafford Chair in the Prevention of Domestic Violence has recently received two new appointments:
- Member of the Alberta Family Violence Death Review Committee: a multi-disciplinary, expert body, composed of a committee of individuals who have extensive knowledge or experience in the area of family violence. The Alberta Family Violence Death Review Committee was established to improve the security, education, health, safety and well-being of children and youth in Alberta.
- Advisor to the Society for Safe and Caring Schools & Communities: a non-profit organization which builds community capacity to prevent bullying, violence and exploitation of children and youth through the promotion of healthy relationships. For more information please go to the Society for Safe and Caring School and Communities website.
