Lana Wells Received John Hutton Memorial Award

Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) awarded Lana Wells the John Hutton Memorial Award for 2016. This award recognizes Lana’s outstanding leadership and contribution in the area of Social Action and Policy. When interviewed for University of Calgary’s News portal website, Lana stressed the importance of working collaboratively with her team and other colleagues: “I could not have done this without my team and key leaders throughout Alberta,” emphasizes Wells. “We have had so many amazing researchers and partners that are very committed to stopping and preventing family violence. They are inspiring.”
