Creating a primary prevention framework in Alberta

In 2020, Shift partnered with IMPACT/Sagesse (a provincial collective impact organization) and the Government of Alberta to create a roadmap for preventing domestic and sexual violence in Alberta. The goal of this project is to identify the root causes of violence and create a comprehensive plan to stop violence before it starts here in Alberta. This exciting collaboration, funded by the Max Bell Foundation and supporting by the Silver Gummy Foundation, will involve researching, consulting, co-designing, and building the capacity to advance primary prevention approaches in Alberta and beyond.
