In response to a call from the Government of Canada, Shift created a recommendation on how to mobilize more men and boys in preventing gender-based violence and promoting gender equality. The report advises that Canada should develop a sustainable, evidence-informed funding model that supports innovative ways to get more men and boys involved in the anti-violence movement. Alongside four evidence-based goals, the report recommends a series of quick wins that could kick-start a movement. The report outlines a clear path toward transformation, laying out practical steps the government should take to effect systemic change.
